Save yourself hassle...

As you know, Permadeck bonds to the plywood decking, which effectively becomes part of the waterproofing system.  This stops water being able to run between the membrane and the deck.  To get a leak you would need to have a hole not just in the Permadeck but through the plywood too.

The plywood must be 100% dry to get a bond.  If your ply gets wet it cannot be dried on the day of installation.

Permadeck DryPly™

This 18mm structural FSC ext wbp plywood is resin coated on its upper face making it temporarily impervious and is ideal for the top layer on both warm roofs and cold deck applications.  Other thicknesses are available to special order.

So, once you’ve ordered your Permadeck installation let us know how many 8x4 sheets of DryPly™ you require (~1 per 3 sqm) and when you want them delivered.  They can also be collected from our two yards, but please give us some notice as stocks can fluctuate.  Having laid your DryPly™ you can duct-tape the board joints to minimise water ingress.

DryPly™ is only available as a component of the Permadeck® system.
